This page explains how users of Stutu can request deletion of their account and associated personal data, in accordance with Google Play’s User Data and Account Deletion policies.
The account deletion process depends on the type of account you have:
Students can delete their account directly from within the Stutu mobile app.
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted from our systems (Firebase).
Tutor accounts require manual verification before deletion due to profile validation, session history, and compliance requirements.
To request deletion of a tutor account, please contact us using one of the following methods from your registered email or phone number:

After your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed:
Some data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days for security, legal, or operational purposes. These backups are not accessible and are automatically purged.
Account deletion requests are typically completed within 7 working days after verification.
